Heads Above the Waves: Parental and Carer Support
On Thursday 17th March at 5.30pm, Heads Above the Waves, a not-for-profit organisation who seek to raise awareness of depression and self-harm in young people, will be running a support session for parents and carers. As Heads Above the Waves have worked in partnership with the Welsh Government on national guidance about these topics, we are very excited to offer you this fully-funded opportunity.
The support session is ideal for parents and carers who have concerns about the emotional wellbeing of their young people and would like advice and guidance about starting conversations around mental health and self-harm. The session will seek to provide advice and guidance about how to respond, answer any questions you may have and provide you with helpful resources.
If you would like to attend, please complete this short booking form here so we can anticipate the number participants and then join us at 5.30pm on Thursday 17th March at the school.
We look forward to seeing you!
