Step 1: The (virtual) Guided Learning Pathways evening

The Headteacher will introduce you to the Guided learning Pathways process via a live broadcast on Microsoft Teams. The broadcast will take at 6.30pm on Tuesday 3 May 2022. You can access the event by clicking here.

Step 2: The Guided Learning Pathways information booklet

Discussions at home can begin by downloading the Guided Learning Pathways information booklet here:

Step 3: Question and Answer sessions

In the week commencing Monday 2 May 2022, teachers will talk about the specialisms available to you in Key Stage 4 during your usual timetabled lessons. This is your chance to ask questions about curriculum content, qualifications and extra-curricular opportunities. There will also be an information assembly on Thursday 5 May 2022 during lessons 3 and 4.

Step 4: Drop-in sessions

In the week commencing Monday 9 May 2022, there will be ‘drop-in’ sessions with senior staff during break times.  If you have specific queries about your choices or would like additional advice or guidance, you can seek it here. Why not pop in for a chat?

Step 5: Making decisions

After speaking with teachers, asking questions and reading information about subject specialisms, you will be ready to make decisions.

You can download more information here:

Step 5: Submitting your choices

When you have made your decisions, you can submit your preferences online. We will try our very best to match classes to your preferences and will talk to you if we think a compromise needs to be made. The deadline for submissions is Wednesday 18 May 2022.

You can submit your choices here:
