Year 11 Prom 2026

Preparing for examinations can be a really difficult time for young people. Pupils, staff and families will be doubling their efforts as we journey through these final few weeks - so it is always good to have something nice to look forward to!

Date and time

We are delighted to be able to host a Year 11 prom on Thursday 18 June 2026 at Cardiff City Stadium from 7.30pm to 10pm. There will be a sit down meal, treats and a great disco of course!

Payment

The cost for the prom will be £50. Payment must be made in full to Miss Hallett directly, in cash or by cheque (made payable to ‘St Teilo’s Amenities’) by Friday 1 May 2026. If this deadline will be difficult for you, please do reach out to me directly and I will be happy to make a bespoke arrangement.

Requirements

I need to point out that attendance to prom is a privilege, not a right. A child's acceptance to prom will require (i) excellent attendance, (ii) excellent punctuality, and (iii) excellent behaviour between 23 February 2026 and 12 June 2026. This provides every student with a completely fresh start, irrespective of any challenges to date.

Reminder

As a reminder, going forward pupils must be deemed to have each of excellent attendance, excellent punctuality and excellent behaviour in order to attend prom. Otherwise, with regret, I will issue a refund and withdraw the place.

Our staff are excited about celebrating success with all of Year 11. Until then, I ask that everybody stays focused and works hard.
