Year 13

Preparing for results day

  • Know where you stand - Check your firm and insurance choices and offer conditions.
  • Think about different situations - Consider now what you might do if your grades are different from expected. Do some research about possible alternatives.
  • Get results day ready - Know your UCAS Hub sign-in and UCAS Personal ID before results day.

On results day

  • Log on to UCAS Hub - From 8.00am, see the latest status of your application and find out whether your place has been confirmed or not.
  • Collect your results - Available from school between 8.00am and 12.00pm.
  • Respond to different situations - You may have a confirmed place, be considered by your insurance choice, have a decision pending, explore Clearing, or decide to take a different route altogether. Staff are available to support and advise you.

After results day

  • Get ready - Follow the next steps from UCAS and your university or employer to prepare for the next stage of your journey.

Year 12

On results day

  • Collect your results - Available from school between 8.00am and 12.00pm.
  • Respond to different situations - Most students will progress into Year 13 as usual. You may have a letter with your results inviting you to a meeting - this means that you have not got the grades to move forward automatically.
