Christmas trips
Nadolig llawen i chi gyd!
We are delighted to invite all students to participate in an end-of-term Christmas trip. Over two days, St Teilo's will be transporting children to Cribbs Causeway, Bristol for shopping, dining and activities.
Trip details
Years 7, 8 and 9 will travel to Cribbs Causeway on Wednesday 17 December 2025 (690 spaces). Years 10 and 11 will travel to Cribbs Causeway on Thursday 18 December 2025 (415 spaces). Children can choose one of the activities below. Please note that there may be some restrictions on numbers.
Christmas shopping and dining, £10
The Mall offers the ultimate regional indoor shopping experience. With over 150 stores, cafés and restaurants, students are free to explore, shop and grab a bite to eat.
What's included: Transport by coach
What's not included: Spending money for shopping and dining
Crazy golf, £15
The Venue offers insanely bold and bright 12-hole crazy golf courses. With pool and ping pong tables, cafés and access to a games arcade, bowling and restaurants.
What's included: Transport by coach, one 12-hole round of crazy golf
What's not included: Spending money for dining, games arcade, bowling and additional crazy golf rounds.
Ice skating, £25
Planet Ice offers the opportunity to glide across a glistening ice rink. With a variety of hot food and snacks from the café to keep your energy up while enjoying your time on the ice!
What's included: Transport by coach, ice skating
What's not included: Spending money for dining
Safety
Coaches will leave school promptly in the morning and transport children directly to their chosen location. We will depart in time to return to the school before 3pm. Staff will travel on coaches with children.
Please note that children will not be directly supervised in public spaces during this trip. Staff will remain at a central point at each of the three locations (The Mall, The Venue and Planet Ice) and at the Cribbs Causeway Information Desk. Students will need to exercise maturity in this public space and always remain in pairs or small groups.
Uniform will not be required. There will be an expectation of the highest standards of behaviour.
First aiders from the school will be present at Cribbs Causeway in case of injury and senior staff will coordinate staff duties. There are safety notices displayed at Planet Ice.
Children choosing not to participate in the trip will attend school as normal.

Parents and carers can book a place for their child(ren) using the link below. If you change your choice of activity, simply complete the booking again. We will take the last entry before the deadline as the preferred choice.
The deadline for booking a place for your child is Wednesday 3 December 2025.
Payment will not be immediately required. We will ask children to pay for their chosen activity in cash in the week commencing 8 December 2025. As always, we do not wish finance to be a barrier. If you require assistance with payment, please contact us.
