Sixth Form Q&A
Sixth Form students are off to a flying start this year and it is fantastic to see them getting to grips with the demands of their post-16 courses. You may have already touched base with Mrs Owen and her team and we would encourage you to stay in contact with us. We spend our days working directly with young people so it's best to contact us by email:
In our 'Bridging the Gap' meeting for Year 12 and the 'Information Evening' for Year 13, we explored the particular challenges of this phase of education - it can certainly seem daunting! Our team is working hard to support students but we remain available to provide advice and guidance should you need us.
We would like to offer an additional opportunity to chat to the Head of Sixth Form, should you have a pressing question or need. You may wish to ask about the UCAS process or there may be wellbeing concerns that you'd like to explore with us. These short, online meetings are specifically designed to discuss your child's progress as a sixth former (with subject-specific feedback given in the parent consultations on 18 January 2024).
