Sixth Form Study Day

Sixth Form students in Years 12 and 13 have significant deadlines prior to the end of this spring term to ensure completion of assessed components for the Skills Challenge Certificate (Year 13) and the Advanced Skills Baccalaureate Wales (Year 12). As such, lessons have been collapsed on Friday 15 March 2024 to allow students to dedicate the day to the completion of this important work. Students can work independently on these submissions at home, or may come in to school and work in the Study Centre should they prefer.

Year 12

Students must ensure that they have completed and collated all work for Tasks 1a and 1b of the Future Destinations project. Both tasks must be submitted in the normal way to wbadmin@stteilos.com by 3pm on Friday 15 March.

Year 13

Students must ensure that they have completed the draft of the Individual Project, including the conclusion, bibliography and self-evaluation. This must be submitted in the normal way to wbadmin@stteilos.com by 3pm on Friday 15 March.

For the small minority of students not studying the Welsh Baccalaureate, please use this independent study day to continue your preparation for the upcoming examination period. Alternatively, you may support staff with Year 11 students who are taking part in Sixth Form Taster Lessons on that day.
