Year 11 Prom

Preparing for examinations can be a really difficult time for young people. Pupils, staff and families will be doubling their efforts as we journey through these final few weeks - so it is always good to have something nice to look forward to!

We are delighted to be able to host a Year 11 prom on Thursday 26 June 2025 at Cardiff City Stadium. There will be a sit down meal, treats and a great disco of course!

The cost for the prom will be £50. Payment must be made in full to Mrs Pitt directly, in cash or by cheque (made payable to ‘St Teilo’s Amenities’). If payment before Friday 2 May 2025 will be difficult for you, please do reach out to me directly.

I need to point out that attendance to prom is a privilege, not a right. A child's acceptance to prom will require excellent attendance, punctuality and behaviour between 4 March 2025 and 20 June 2025. This provides every student with a completely fresh start, irrespective of any challenges to date.

As a reminder, going forward pupils must be deemed to have each of excellent attendance, excellent punctuality and excellent behaviour in order to attend prom. Otherwise, with regret, I will issue a refund and withdraw the place.

Our teachers are excited about celebrating success with all of Year 11. Until then, I ask that everybody stays focused and works hard.
